To ensure the security of our customers' funds, we keep the majority of assets in cold storage with only a small percentage in hot wallets. During unanticipated spikes in withdrawal volume, assets must be transferred from cold storage to hot wallets to service all requests.

This is known as wallet rebalancing and may cause a temporary delay in processing new requests until it is completed.
