Withdrawing cryptocurrency from your Newton account:

Note: You are now required to save your crypto addresses in your Address Book on Newton to withdraw to an external wallet. This simplifies the withdrawal process and adds additional security to your Newton account.

Before completing these steps, log in to your Newton account. You can create one here if you do not already have a Newton account.

Via web browser:

1. On the right-hand side of the dashboard, navigate to the upwards-facing arrow.

2. Select "Crypto to Wallet".

3. Choose the saved address where you want to transfer your funds. If the desired address is not saved yet, you can refer to this article that explains how to add it to your address book on Newton.

4. Enter the number of funds you would like to withdraw from your Newton account to your external wallet.

5. Select ‘Review Withdrawal’.

6. Review your withdrawal details to ensure you’re sending the correct amount and then select ‘Withdraw Funds’.

Via the app:

1. At the bottom of the dashboard, navigate to the Transfer icon.

2. Navigate to the Withdraw tab and select "Crypto to Wallet".

3. Choose the saved address where you want to transfer your funds. If the desired address is not saved yet, you can refer to this article that explains how to add it to your address book on Newton.

4. Enter the number of funds you would like to withdraw from your Newton account to your external wallet.

5. Select ‘Review Withdrawal’.
6. Review your withdrawal details to ensure you’re sending the correct amount and then select ‘Withdraw Funds’.

Cryptocurrency Withdrawal Timelines

Depending on the size of the transfer and a number of security-related factors, your withdrawals will usually be processed instantly. However, in some cases, the withdrawal will be queued for manual review. This manual review will be completed as soon as possible, and if the transfer has been queued, it will appear in your dashboard as pending.

Crypto Withdraw Network/Gas Fee Subsidies

Reminder: For cryptocurrency withdrawals, the first $5 of the withdrawal fee is covered on the first withdrawal made in a fixed 24-hour period from 12 AM-12 AM ET. On the first withdrawal of the period, any transactional fees above $5 will be a cost incurred by the user. Please see here for a detailed breakdown.
