You may find yourself wanting to change the email address for your Newton account. However, it is highly recommended to not create another account unless absolutely necessary.

Here are common reasons why you might want to make a new account under a new email address:

1. Referral issues: Looking to add a referral link if you missed using one at signup.

2. Bank email address issues: Concerns about using a different email address than online banking.

Solutions for these common issues:

1. Referral issues: Instead of creating a new account for a referral issue, please send us a request through the in-app help chat, or from https://newton.co/support to add a referral link to your account!

2. Bank email address issues: Instead of creating a new account for a bank email address issue, please see the following:

• Having a different email from the one that is currently connected to your account does not affect your ability to request money via Interac e-Transfer. If you find yourself needing to change email addresses beyond the above issues, please let us know and we'll be happy to help you with the following process:

1. Create a new account with a new email address.

2. Withdraw all funds from your previous account to your bank account or external wallets.

3. We'll need to manually verify your new account!
