NOTE: Please ensure the network you deposit with matches the withdrawal network. Incorrect addresses and networks can result in the loss of your crypto assets.

Before completing these steps, log in to your Newton account. You can create one here if you do not already have a Newton account.

Depositing cryptocurrencies from external wallets into your Newton account:

Via web browser:

1. On the right-hand side of the dashboard, navigate to the downwards pointing arrow (Add Funds).

2. Select "Crypto from Wallet".

3. Select coin, network and generate address:

    a. Select the cryptocurrency you are depositing with the currency selector ("Choose Coin").

    b. Select the network to use for the transfer (if applicable).

    c. Then click "Generate Address" to create and display your funding address. For example, if you are depositing Bitcoin on the Bitcoin Network, you would select "Bitcoin" with the coin selector and the network will default to "Bitcoin".

4. If you have previously generated an address for a coin and network combination, your QR code, address and memo code (if applicable) will be displayed automatically when funding your account with the same coin.

5. Scan the QR code using your external wallet you will be sending the funds from - or copy the address in Newton and paste it into the destination field in your external wallet and send your funds.

Via the mobile app:

1. Tap the Transfer icon at the bottom.

2. Navigate to the "ADD FUNDS" tab and select "Crypto from Wallet".

3. Select coin, network and generate address:

    a. Select the cryptocurrency you are depositing with the currency selector ("Choose Coin").

    b. Select the network to use for the transfer (if applicable).

    c. Then click "Generate Address" to create and display your funding address.

If you have previously generated an address for a coin and network combination, your QR code, address and memo code (if applicable) will be displayed automatically when funding your account with the same coin.

Scan the QR code using your external wallet you will be sending the funds from - or copy the address in Newton and paste it into the destination field in your external wallet and send your funds.

As soon as it's detected, the transfer will appear on your dashboard - however, it will not be credited to your account until it hits a certain number of confirmations on-chain

NOTE: If a Memo is displayed, it is required in order to complete funding your Newton account. Failing to include the memo may result in significant delays in processing or potential loss of crypto assets.
