What is Newt Loot?

Newt Loot is a limited-time promotion in the Newton app that lets you generate loot in your account by keeping your in-game character, Newtie, energized throughout the day. Loot can be redeemed for in-game rewards.

The longer Newtie stays active throughout the day, the more loot your account can generate, which gives you a greater claim over rewards in the daily rewards pools.

How to Play

• Returning players can find Newt Loot in the top-left corner of the home screen or under Account settings.
• Energize Newtie by tapping the pickaxe button; this keeps Newtie in an active state.
• Energy depletes in real-time; once it runs out, looting pauses until you recharge your Newtie.
• When the loot cart button turns orange, tap it to claim your Loot.
• Loot is redeemable for rewards, which are often crypto rewards such as satoshis (the smallest unit of Bitcoin).
• Maintain a daily streak to increase your maximum energy limit over time.

Streaks: Boost Your Max Energy

Increase your max energy level by playing daily:

• Increase your streak by energizing Newtie at least once per day.
• Missing a day drops your Consecutive Days Played by one.

How Loot Works

Loot is collected based on your activity and distributed at the end of each Block Period:

• Block Periods: A 24-hour cycle.
• Daily Pool: A set amount of Loot available during each Block Period.
• Collecting Loot: Your share depends on how long your Newtie was active compared to other players in a Block Period, and if you were in a clan.
• Claiming Loot: Redeem your accrued Loot for crypto rewards once it’s ready to collect.

Loot Expiration

Loot expires 30 days after it’s accrued. Claim rewards with your accumulated Loot before time runs out.

The Daily Gem

The daily gem gives one lucky player a bonus loot worth at least $10 in ETH.

Loot Clans: Team Up for More Rewards

A Loot Clan is a group of up to 16 members who work together to collect extra rewards through a Multiplier Bonus.

The Multiplier Bonus increases for each member who has checked in during the current Block Period, and resets at the start of the next Block Period.

To check in, a member must energize their Newtie at least once within the current Block Period.

Creating a Clan

• Tap the Newtie icon, then select Loot Clans on your profile page.
• Select Create Clan to start your own. As the creator of a Clan, you automatically become its Clan Chief.
• Invite members by sharing your Clan QR code, Clan ID, or Clan Name found under the Add Members button on the Loot Clans screen.
• As Clan Chief, you must accept or decline join requests from players.
• You can remove members anytime using the Manage button on the Clan screen.
• If you leave the Clan, leadership transfers to the longest-standing member.

Note: Clan Chiefs have the ability to poke members that have not checked-in for the day to energize their Newtie.

Joining a Clan

• Tap the Newtie icon, then go to Loot Clans on your profile page.
• Search a Clan ID, Clan name, or scan a Clan QR code to request to join.
• The Clan Chief must approve your request before you officially join.
• Clan members can leave anytime by selecting Leave Clan on the Clan screen.
• Each Clan can have up to 16 members.

How Clan Multipliers Work

• Each checked in Clan member boosts the Multiplier Bonus by 2.5%, up to a 40% max (for 16 active members).
• Clan multipliers do not take rewards away from non-Clan players.
• Clans with only one member will not receive a Multiplier Bonus.

• The total Loot pool for a Block Period is 100 Loot.

Final Notes

Newton’s game records are final and used to determine Loot and rewards. Unclaimed Loot may expire or be converted into in-app loyalty points at Newton’s discretion.
