As a Newton user, you must complete a short questionnaire to help us understand your past experience and knowledge with crypto investing, your financial situation, and your risk tolerance. Our assessment of the results of your questionnaire may introduce certain restrictions on your account. Investing in cryptocurrencies can be risky—we want to make sure that investing in crypto is appropriate for you and that you understand those risks.
There are two outcomes of this questionnaire:
- If the results indicate that investing in crypto is appropriate for you, you will be able to use Newton’s complete platform.
- If the results suggest that investing in crypto is not appropriate for you, you will be restricted from funding your account or placing new buys. If this is the case and you are an existing user, your account functionality will be limited to sales of crypto assets and withdrawals.
Depending on your province of residence, there may also be net buy limits imposed on your account. Learn more here.
If you’ve made an error in your questionnaire, please contact support using one of the following options — make sure to use the keyword ‘survey’ or ‘questionnaire’ in your subject line and message:
- If you are on a desktop device, select the ‘Help’ icon in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen.
