The Signature Program is Newton’s tiered pricing model that offers fixed trading fees based on your trailing 365-day trade volume. As your activity increases over time, you may qualify for lower fees, no enrollment or action required on your part.
The program is designed to be simple, transparent, and built directly on your trading activity. Everything happens in the background, so you can trade as you normally do while your Signature tier updates as soon as you qualify.
How the Signature Program Works
Your tier is based on the total value of your eligible trading activity over the past 365 days. This includes buys, sells, and swaps.
As your 12-month trading volume increases, your trading fees may decrease depending on the tier you qualify for. Your Signature tier updates daily based on your rolling 365-day trading volume.
While you don’t need to take any action, Newton will apply your new tier shortly after you qualify, ensuring your updated fee is reflected as soon as possible. When your volume enters a new tier threshold, your updated fee applies to future eligible trades.

Note: Platinum and Diamond Trading fees apply only to buys, sells, and swaps. They are not currently applied to staking or rewards programs.
How Signature Fees Are Applied
The Signature tier only applies to eligible trades made after your trading volume reaches a specified threshold and once your tier update has been implemented. Trades that contribute to reaching a threshold do not receive the lower fee, only the trades following it.
Your Signature tier takes effect once you’ve reached a tier threshold and applies to eligible trades going forward.
Trades made while reaching the threshold do not receive the reduced fee.
Viewing Your Signature Status
You can view your Signature tier and your current 12-month trading volume anytime in-app under Account Settings → Signature Program.
Standard Trading Fees (Silver Tier)
Trading Fees: These fees apply to both buy and sell orders. The fee rate varies by crypto asset and is displayed while you complete a trade.

Tier 1 Assets (1.00% - 1.15%):
- Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), USD Coin (USDC)

Tier 2 Assets (1.25% - 1.45%):
- Litecoin (LTC), Solana (SOL), Stellar Lumens (XLM)

Tier 3 Assets (1.50% - 1.60%):
- All other crypto assets have a standard fee rate in this range.
Swapping Fees: These fees apply to Swaps (Crypto-to-Crypto) orders. The fee rate varies by crypto asset pair and is displayed while you complete a trade.
- 1.00% - 1.15%:
- Bitcoin/Ethereum (BTC/ETH)
