Please note that after the completion of the migration, GALA 1.0 coins will no longer be accepted, and we make no guarantee regarding the recovery of any deposited GALA 1.0. 

On Monday, May 15, 2023, all GALA coins held in the Newton platform will be automatically migrated to the new GALA 2.0 coin. There is no required action for GALA holders to participate in this migration. GALA 1.0 coins will be automatically transferred to the GALA 2.0 coins within users’ accounts, however, the name of the asset (GALA) will not change.

Funding, trading, and withdrawals of GALA may be temporarily interrupted on May 15 as we prepare and facilitate the migration in-app. Updates will be posted to our status page if this is required.

If you prefer to receive the GALA 2.0 directly, you may transfer all GALA assets out of Newton and into your personal wallet.
