Effective March 20, 2026, CTSI, KNC, and MASK will no longer be listed on Newton. Support for affected assets will be phased out beginning March 5, 2026, with liquidation of any remaining tokens on March 20, 2026. Read on for more information.
Why is this happening?
We regularly review the assets available on our platform to ensure they continue to meet our internal criteria and remain properly supported by our service providers. To maintain compliance with internal standards and support requirements, we will be phasing out support for CTSI, KNC, and MASK.
We understand that this may be disappointing for some users. Please know that we carefully consider these decisions and have explored all possible alternatives to maintain support for the affected tokens before reaching this conclusion.
What do you need to know
Key dates are as follows:
March 5, 2026: Market buys and new limit orders for CTSI, KNC, and MASK will be disabled. Deposits for these assets will also be disabled.
March 19, 2026: Sells for CTSI, KNC, and MASK will be disabled. Withdrawals for these assets will also be disabled.
March 20, 2026: Any remaining CTSI, KNC, and MASK will be liquidated. Withdrawals must be made before March 20, 2026.
If you currently hold CTSI, KNC, or MASK, you will be able to withdraw your holdings until March 19, 2026, 11:59 PM EST. Holdings of these assets left on the Newton platform after 11:59 PM EST on March 19, 2026, will be liquidated on your behalf at the current market value on March 20, 2026 and the resulting CAD proceeds from the sale(s) will be deposited into your Newton account once complete.
To avoid liquidation (automatic sell-off at market rate) of your assets, you may withdraw your CTSI, KNC, or MASK before March 20, 2026.
Note: Beginning March 5, 2026, deposits of CTSI, KNC, or MASK sent to your Newton account will no longer be supported and cannot be recovered. Please refrain from funding your account with the above-listed assets, and ensure you remove these Newton wallet addresses for these assets from any address book entries you may have saved to prevent unintended transactions.
