Effective December 11, 2025, INJ, HNT, and CELO will no longer be listed on Newton. Support for affected assets will be phased out beginning November 27, 2025, completing with liquidation of remaining tokens on December 11, 2025. Read on for more information.
Why is this happening?
We regularly review the assets available on our platform to ensure they continue to meet our internal criteria and to ensure they are properly supported by our service providers. To ensure compliance with internal standards and support requirements, we will be phasing out support for INJ, HNT, and CELO.
We understand that this may be disappointing for some users. Please know that we carefully consider these decisions and have explored all possible alternatives to maintain support for the affected tokens before reaching this conclusion.
What do you need to know?
Key dates are as follows:
November 27, 2025: Buys will be disabled. Deposits will be disabled. Buy and sell limit orders will be disabled.
December 10, 2025: Sells will be disabled. Withdrawals will be disabled.
December 11, 2025: Any remaining INJ, HNT, and CELO will be liquidated. Any withdrawals must be made before December 11, 2025.
If you currently hold INJ, HNT, or CELO, you will be able to withdraw your holdings until December 10, 2025, 11:59 PM EST. Holdings of these assets left on the Newton platform after 11:59 PM EST on December 10, 2025, will be liquidated on your behalf at the current market value. The CAD proceeds from the sale(s) will be deposited into your Newton account once complete.
To avoid liquidation (automatic sell-off at market rate) of your assets, you may withdraw your INJ, HNT, or CELO before December 11, 2025.
Note: Beginning November 27, 2025, deposits of INJ, HNT, or CELO sent to your Newton account will no longer be supported and cannot be recovered. Please refrain from funding your account with the above-listed assets, and ensure you remove these Newton wallet addresses for these assets from any address book entries you may have saved to prevent unintended transactions.
