We’re sunsetting ENJ on August 19, 2024

Effective August 19, 2024, ENJ will no longer be supported on Newton. Support for Enjin (ENJ) will be phased out beginning July 22, 2024, completing with liquidation of remaining assets on August 19, 2024. Read on for more information.

Why is this happening? In June 2024, our service providers notified us that they will be suspending support for ENJ. Therefore we’ve made the difficult decision to formally sunset this asset.

We understand that some users may be disappointed by this decision. Please know that we do not take these decisions lightly, and we have explored other options to restore trading on this asset.

What do you need to know? ENJ will be delisted soon. Key dates are as follows:

July 22, 2024: Buys will be disabled. Deposits will be disabled. Buy and sell limit orders will be disabled.

August 5, 2024: Sells will be disabled.

August 19, 2024: Any remaining ENJ will be liquidated. Any withdrawals must be made before August 19, 2024.

If you currently hold ENJ, you will be able to withdraw your holdings until August 18, 2024, 11:59 PM ET. Holdings of these assets left on the Newton platform after 11:59 PM ET on August 18, 2024, will be liquidated on your behalf at the current market value. The CAD proceeds from the sale(s) will be deposited into your Newton account once complete.

To avoid liquidation (automatic sell off at market rate) of your assets, we encourage you to be proactive and withdraw your ENJ before August 19, 2024.

Note: Beginning July 22, 2024, deposits of ENJ sent to your Newton account cannot be recovered. Please refrain from funding your account with ENJ, and ensure to remove ENJ Newton wallet addresses from any address book entries you may have saved to prevent unintended transactions.
